Santa Ana, CA – Leap Squad Track Club is proud to announce two outstanding performances from its athletes as they make waves in California’s track and field scene.

Colin Green of Great Oak High School in Temecula has kicked off his senior season in style. With a new personal best of 46'5", Colin is now ranked #3 in California for the triple jump. This incredible achievement comes in his season opener, showcasing his continued dedication and hard work in preparation for the college recruitment season. Colin has been working relentlessly in the offseason, refining his technique and developing the explosiveness necessary for elite performance. His performance at this stage of the season has set the bar high for the rest of the competition, and college coaches are already taking notice.

Meanwhile, Caden Matsumoto, a senior at West Torrance High School and a member of the SouthBay Speed Team, has joined the Leap Squad Virtual Team this year. Together, they have collaborated on a special training plan, and it is paying off big time. Caden hit a new personal best of 22'4" in the long jump, earning the #5 spot in California. This milestone marks a huge leap forward for Caden, who has been consistent in his hard work and dedication to the sport. Caden’s jump is a testament to his relentless drive to excel and his commitment to achieving his dreams of competing at the collegiate level.

Both athletes have worked tirelessly through their offseason training, and these early-season results are a clear indication of the bright futures ahead of them. As high school seniors, Colin and Caden are gearing up to compete at the collegiate level and continue to push their limits. With the guidance of Coach Keinan Briggs and the support of the Leap Squad community, both athletes are on track to achieve their goals.
