FREE LIVE EVENT · SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25 · 11:00 AM PACIFIC

You’ve paid for the camps, driven to the practices, and you’re still not sure it’s helping.

A 90-minute live session for parents of long jumpers and triple jumpers. Not for your athlete — for you.

90 minutes · Free · Live with Coach Keinan Briggs

At most high schools, the jumps coach is a sprint coach with a tape measure.

That is not an insult. Most of them are good people working long hours for almost no money, covering four events because somebody has to.

But it means the person responsible for your athlete’s approach may never have been taught how to build one. They can say "run faster." They can move the mark back a foot. What they often cannot do is look at a jump and tell you why it happened.

And here’s the part that costs you: your athlete doesn’t know that’s the problem. So when the marks stop moving, they don’t conclude "nobody has taught me the approach." They conclude "I’m not that good."

I’ve watched kids quit over that. Kids who were nowhere near their ceiling.

Ninety minutes. Three things.

What’s actually costing your athlete distance

The three real causes and how to tell, from the stands, which one is yours.

Where the coaching gap actually is

What your athlete’s program can and can’t give them, and the conversation to have with their coach before the season starts.

What your job is and what it isn’t

How to help without becoming their coach, their analyst, or the reason practice feels like work.
